In todays Australian newspaper it was reported that the Fed minister for health gave $17.8m over 5 years to Queensland Uni researchers for heart attack treatment using the funnel web spiders peptide. It stated that it has been proven already in strokes. However it will take 10 years to become available. My take is that you need diagnosis first. That is where EMV comes in with rapid at point of care diagnosis. We do not have to wait 10 years for this fab technology which will save countless lives world wide. Great to be at this point of development.
