An interesting article in the Guardian Newspaper re stroke detection finger prick blood test. It is 90% accurate in differentiating clot v bleed in 15 minutes. The advantage with that as with EMVs tech is that paramedics can direct the patient to a thrombectomy facility which number 24 in the UK. The advantage with EMVs tech, the mobile one, is that it also gives a diagnosis plus location of the clot . With the blood test you might get to a specialist centre but the diagnostic location work has to start. That takes time. EMVs tech becomes so good that the specialists can rely on the transmitted images and hit the ground running. No need possibly for CAT scans/MRI which are time consuming. With the EMU in hospital the very specialist team might do twice the work in the same time.
