Sadly, the share price continues to underwhelm despite the evident success of the technology at each development stage. Typical for early medtech players, of course, though in this case we’re well past proof of concept, and surely the penny will drop at some point. This is disruptive technology at the intersection of the cutting edge themes of AI, brain health, and portable diagnostics.
Whilst I’m happy to wait out the next 12-18 months to commercialisation, there’s a reasonable chance that as the American trial arm gets underway it could be a catalyst for renewed investor interest and upward price momentum in the relatively near term. EMV is now accessing the world’s largest medtech market, after all.
The trial sites are top-tier stroke centres, and this could well generate significant US media and analyst attention as announcements emerge around site activation and recruitment milestones, interim data, and regulatory steps. We’ve already got integral engagement from Keysight, which confers substantial US domestic credibility.
Would be nice to see our patience rewarded without having to wait too long!
