EMvision Research Notes, page-2288

Has anyone been able to get a good analysis on EMVision competitor Medfield Diagnostics? I see it’s mentioned earlier in the forum but it’s hard to get info on it as all of its investor reports are in Swedish.

On the face of things the company doesn’t seem great (mostly because they’re hard to evaluate due to their website not being super user friendly/less professional than EMV.) Also they’re trading currently at 0.30kr which is around 0.043AUD. Which seems so cheap that I hear alarm bells. It looks like Medfield has been trending downwards since 2021.
HOWEVER Medfield does have their MD100 Strokefinder currently being used with NSW ambulance service, which I assume to be a trial. Also they have some good data from their clinical trials to support them. This makes me wonder if they’re ahead of EMV as they have some trials that were published in 2015 and 2017 and were on based on haemorrhagic vs is ischaemic stroke and traumatic brain injury detection. Where EMV is still only trialing healthy patients.

Does anyone have an idea as to why Medfield doesn’t seem to be doing as well in comparison despite appearing to be ahead of the curve?

Also of note EMV is partnered with the Australian Stroke Association and Medfield is not.
