The reason MDMA works for people with PTSD is not because it makes them happy per se, it's because it allows them to talk about challenging memories in therapy. It's the therapy that is doing the good work and the MDMA is only facilitating that therapy.
By the way this is great news for Emyria. Getting that data is key to convincing insurance companies to pay for this treatment.
The charity would have done their due diligence, so this is also a vote of confidence for the team at Emyria that they are the best ones to carry out this work. I'm not surprised, I think Michael is a smart guy and has a solid plan for placing Emyria at the forefront of delivering this as a therapy certainly in Australia.
