Candles are probably better for charting, but as I've mentioned previously I'm not heavily into technical analysis.
But based on your charts it looks like the next couple of weeks might give insight to chart interpretation, and possible break out (up or down) - other than a surprise announcement the only likely forthcoming announcement is the quarterly about 6 - 7 weeks from now.
