encouraging dec.-quarter

PEM has improved the quality of Broken Hill significantly.

Head Grades are up from 6.7% to 8.6% (Zinc) from from 3% up to 3.6% (lead) in Dec.Quarter.

Although the processed material decreaed from 497k to 474k tonnes the Zinc concentrate improves from 60.1k to 73.7k (!!) and Lead in concntrate from 17.2k to 19.5k.

Due to improved Concentrator performance, the Recovery Rate is up from 90.1% to 91.7% (Zinc) and from 82.9% to 84.2%.

December-Quarter output 37.3k (30.1k) tonnes Zinc and 14.1k (12.7k) tonnes lead.

IMO very encouraging especially when you take higher commodoty prices into account. If they are able to enlarge the raw material we may see huge income streams ver soon. Head grades of North Mine and specially Potosi are much higher than for south-mine. Should see 30us/lb zinc soon IMO
