Gold Potential Confirmed at Munda
Titan Resources Limited is pleased to announce results from RC percussion drilling at the
Widgie 3 prospect near Widgiemooltha in Western Australia. Confirmatory gold assay results
from re-sampling of previously reported composite RC percussion drill intercepts at the Munda
prospect have also been received (Fig 1).
Assay results from two RC holes at the Widgie 3 prospect (100% Titan) have been received.
These holes were designed to test the potential for shallow nickel sulphide mineralisation
beneath the existing 50m deep open pit (Fig 2). Best intersection was from hole WDC 236
with 8m @ 1.80% Ni from 126m down hole, on the ultramafic-mafic contact. Hangingwall
mineralisation, including 1m @ 1.38% Ni from 154m was recorded in WDC 237. Assay results
are awaited from three RC precollared diamond drill holes at Widgie 3.
At the Munda nickel-gold prospect (Titan in joint venture with Consolidated Minerals Ltd), hole
WDC 235 had recorded a 4m (composite sample) intercept assaying 17.95 g/t Au from 96m
down hole, hosted in mafic volcanics in the footwall to ultramafic-mafic contact nickel
mineralisation. Re-assaying of 1m riffle split samples confirmed the high tenor gold
mineralisation with 2m @ 21.73 g/t from 96-98m down hole. Significant 1-2.4 g/t gold
intercepts were also recorded in the mafic volcanic footwall to nickel mineralisation in hole
WDC 232 (see Table 1 and Fig 3). Assay results are awaited from four RC precollared
diamond holes drilled at Munda.
Titan Managing Director, Jeff Gresham commented, “At Widgie 3, the limited drilling completed
to date indicates that further work is justified to assess the potential for defining a near-surface
resource immediately below the existing open pit.
“At Munda, the positive gold results recorded in the immediate footwall to the ultramafic-mafic
contact-related nickel mineralisation confirms the close spatial association interpreted from
previous drilling and provides us with encouragement for possible exploitation of both nickel
and gold in any future mining scenario.”
Further drilling programs are planned to commence later this month to advance the
understanding of the near surface gold mineralisation and to test for depth extensions of the
nickel sulphide mineralisation at Munda and the nickel mineralisation beneath the open pit at
Widgie 3.

Note: All RC drill samples from the mineralised intercepts were dry, with acceptable sample
recovery. Samples were collected from one metre sample intervals as riffle split samples and
submitted to independent assay laboratory, ALS Chemex for nickel (multi acid digest/ICP), gold
(50g fire assay) and multi-element analysis (ICP-AES). Gold results are reported using a
nominal 1ppm lower limit, with no top cut.
