ENCOURAGING FIRST ASSAY RESULTS FROM RESOURCE CONFIRMATION
DRILLING PROGRAM – LIXIAN PROJECT, CHINA
• Results from three diamond core and two RC drill holes have been received
from the Zhao Gou and Ma Gou deposits within the Lixian Project.
• Drilling has confirmed that the gold mineralised zones extend to depth
below Zhao Gou and Ma Gou.
• Grades, widths and style of the intersected gold mineralisation are
consistent with results obtained by previous exploration.
• Best results include:
Ma Gou 29m at 2.77g/t Au including 9m at 3.82 g/t Au, 8m at 4.20g/t Au;
25m at 3.77g/t Au including 12m at 3.34 g/t Au, 7m at 5.89g/t Au;
Zhao Gou 13m at 2.51 g/t Au including 9m at 3.15 g/t Au;
134.1m at 1.74g/t Au including 72m at 2.50 g/t Au.
Dragon Mountain Gold which listed on the ASX on July 31, 2007, is pleased to announce
the first drill results from its drilling program on the Li Ba license of its Lixian project in central
west China. We are very encouraged by these results as they augur well for the planned
conversion of existing resources to a JORC compliant status.
The drilling program is currently focussed on confirming and extending the outcropping
mineralisation at the Zhao Gou and Ma Gou (also known as No. 6) gold deposits. These
deposits are part of the widespread mineralisation outlined at the Lixian Project by the
Gansu Non Ferrous Metallurgical Bureau and are described in detail in the Company’s
Prospectus. The gold mineralisation is fine grained and found associated with pyrite and
lesser arsenopyrite in a major shear system within sandstones and siltstones of the Qinling
Fold Belt.
These first drill results confirm the widths, grade and style of mineralisation
encountered by previous Chinese and Australian workers in drilling, trenching
and underground exploration drives.
