Very disappointing to see them forgo the opportunity to characterise the increasing royalty revenue in a positive manner. Why on earth start with 'Revenues of $23k received in Dec quarter', for heaven's sake?
It seems so utterly 'tone-deaf' to market perception not to be crystal clear what period of sales that revenue represented in the first place, then not to immediately follow that with a jolly-looking little chart - including some little reasonable guesstimate forecast dots leading even higher...
That such a simple, basic, fundamental thing required clarification, once again provided by some of our active posters, is appalling, really. Not only has the same point about poor communication been made to the BOD time and again, literally for years, they responded that they would improve. This is not an improvement!
As for the guts of it, I like the bodyguard division - it will add clarity and an ibuprofen patch getting up would be great, so good to hear that is still afoot.
Taking back shaving and hairbrushes is good. Maybe Dollar shave club would like a magnetic shaver, ha ha - I still don't see a shaver in OBJ's future, but a hairbrush - sure, why not, maybe infuse conditioner better with it?
Surface hygiene - good, still plodding along - and it must result in a product for my money - mould is a mongrel to treat and hospital hygiene generally is a world-wide problem.
The latter seems stalled because it's real-world application benefit is not demonstrable in EU efficacy tests done on smooth glass surfaces. Seems to me a Gordian knot crying out for a sword. Just market it with the explanation. Microscopic scratches - it gets in - '...like the ink into this chalk...' (good old Mrs. Marsh).
I guess, in terms of 'hopeful's negative view, it does require belief that the P&G products will continue to be popular. I think the signs so far are very positive in that respect and moving to 'incorporation' of OBJ tech via packaging / applicators will be massive, aside from 2nd tech, which also has great potential.
