Yeah actually that's often how it happens when it comes to manipulation. There's a reason you hear of pump and dumps not dumps and pumps. There's far less money to be made in pushing prices down, you can only sell so many shares short. Much easier to profit by manipulating prices up
Of course though on HC manipulation only happens when prices are falling and punters need someone to blame their investment decision on
