Well written. As you say, P will abide by his belief in abstaining from meat eating so long as everyone else does. How does that rate for a principled way of living?
Because it will never happen (viz that no single person ever eats meat) then P will be able to eat as much meat as he chooses.
Hence, there is going to be an out for P on any gross/dishonest/harmful human behaviour in which he may engage, given that some time, somewhere, and on some level, this behaviour has already been engaged in by someone before him.
How odd was that post? Very strange logic indeed....
