There's been a lot of spruiking going on in the property market, tv stations with their property shows glorifying property such as "hot property"... and real estate agents and their associations recklessly promoting the idea that all you need to do is buy property to prosper.
Terms like .. Safe as houses .. nothing beats brick and mortar doesn't help those with negative equity overseas.
Some regulations to control the property spruikers would be good - in the same way as you can't offer unqualified investment advice on shares.
