I want to see those same people employed in clean industries where their health isn't compromised by the working conditions and their labour doesn't pollute the planet.
Perhaps there should be nothing there if that's all it can support? The town's only been there for about 50 years so it's a mining town and they come and go, that's the nature of the business. Now they've got a massive mess to clean up as a legacy too.
