I really think they could find a competent and qualified person to take the SYA CEO position if they truly wanted. Don't forget, It is a $600,000 dollar salary a year. If the U.S. Government can find a person so quickly to take the job as Ambassador to Haiti, the CEO job at SYA should be a snap.
