Were you to factor in the opportunity cost of investing in AKK, as opposed to say bottom drawing TLS, then your theoretical loss could be greater. Or, a series of fabulous short term trades that would have earnt you squillions, but didn't.
AKK has always suffered from too much hype, which may have influenced your initial buy.
But the truth is, AKK and the sector as a whole has been clobbered by externalities, ie POO, and possibly being a pawn in global politics with the US, Saudi, Russia etc.
No company is immune to such disasters. AKK certainly isn't.
The future for it looks grim.
I'd like to blame the company for my major loss on this one.
Truth is though, i didn't set stops. I have only myself to blame.
