Well said balanced.....An extremely balanced view
I agree, we are not an oil producer, we are explorers & innovators. Put up as much crap as you like about the SP, potential, buy ins, oil show, samples, test results, Blah, Blah, Blah. We held the lease, we shared the pain and we delivered the goods. Allbeit sad for a few rampers, FAR is a very small player in this field and should be very pleased with their achievements. They are not producers and if they think they are than i guess all you share holders had best dig deeply into your wallets to support the process.
Totally, how many investors will hang around waiting for a return in 10 years. 2022 is the banter for production. Crap, i'll be on the Riviera sipping my daily prune juice waiting for the news of FAR.
I apologise if i offend some holders as i know how much you have treasured, embraced, nurtured and even suckled on the words of other posters.
But it is time to face reality. FAR is not the golden goose, it is a company that specialises in exploration and they do it very well. Back their efforts but dont get caught up in the hype of rampers who have probably sold, bought, sold etc on every ramp whilst you were dribbling over their words of wisdom.
Personally, i have doubled my investment whilst reading the rampers Up and Down advice.
I fully appreciate that no one saw today coming. No one saw the actions of OPEC against the threat of US Fracing. No one thought that the massive exploration efforts around the globe would supply and over supply. For those who are old enough, do you remember the fuel shortages, the fear that we would run out of oil/fuel.
We all need to calm down and rethink our investment strategies which should be based on our own research, read posters views.......But most importantly MAKE YOU OWN DECISIONS.....not those based on some traders rampings.
p.s. JP this is not directed in any way to you. You have expressed an amazing insight to the industry. I wish i had had this when investing in NEN.
