I spoke with cnx management recently because I could not understand what data the company might have that could possibly require months to collate, particularly given that the company has presumably been providing groundwater quality etc data on an ongoing basis.

It would appear that the company is now required by DERM to provide baseline air quality data (which apparently it does not currently have) and other unspecified data. My concern is that the announcement uses the word "collate". As everyone knows there has to be data to collate. It appears to me that the company has been reluctant to advise shareholders that additional data is required.

I do not regard the difference between "collate" and "acquire" as semantics and I am very disappointed that the company has not been more open with it shareholders about DERM's requirements. I have found that with cnx announcements there is often a need to read between the lines.
