Interesting to watch this happen again today.
Just a couple of minutes before the 4:10pm auction close at the end of trading, we looked like we were going to close at 8.1c. We had one buy bidder of 300,000 shares at 8.1c and the sells at 8c totalled 277,380.
About a minute before the close, the one 'buy bidder' altered his/her 8.1c bid to 277,378, thus leaving a two share overlap at 8c....and so we close at 8c and not 8.1c
As folk have noticed this 'two share' differential previously, it stands to reason that someone, or some entity, thinks it's worthwhile to be playing with our SP.
It could mean that someone simply has too much time on their hands, but it probably makes more sense to conclude that our SP is being played with......at least to some degree.
