If it dips below $2 you'll have some serious money invested in this which will be then under water. IF nothing changes about the fundamentals of the company then I strongly believe that if you don't see some serious support before $2 to buy lots of stock off those willing to sell then I expect you'll see some serious buying come out under $2 to take as much stock as anyone wants to feed in. U.S. insto's have bought up somewhere in the region of 50% of the stock already; I doubt very much that they wouldn't be chomping at the bit to buy up as as much of the other 50% that you want to give them if they can have it for under $2. You've seen this already by Baupost, the others are probably happy to wait a little longer and pay a bit more if need while they wait for incoming announcements. However, if the price moves to $2 I think you'll find that they reconsider waiting.
