From now on... what SDL needs is cameroon Govt hurry the potential Rail Road and port builders to show their hands.
once that is annouced, SDL will able to secure finance easily either by JV or borrowing from bank.
I hope those precious news is not too far away...we are already in mid June... 5 1/2 months to the end of the year...
SDL already said they hope to start the project early 2009 (april) if I remember correctly. For that to happen they need to secure the finance 2-3 months before it start. Meaning January to secure finance. AND to secure finance by january they need at least to start negotiation months before that.. meaning October/November and I sure the board will leak some news on the potential finacier/JV
If any of these going to happen, they have to happen fairly soon and I doubt they will release all the good news at once. So 5 months 3 major news...
