End of year trading

    As a newbie, I am wondering if there are any typical end of year trading patterns. Like for instance many holders selling out near the holiday period (perhaps to spend some profits over the Xmas break). Consequently, is it typical for the market to be a but bearish as we come up towards December?

    Or is it business as usual right thru the holiday period?
