Are you kidding me? As with all Nature news stories, all claims are well cited, and the scientific peer reviewed papers that provide the evidence are listed as references at the end of the article.

Please don't use the words "scientific evidence" again until you go away and learn more about the history of what the Nature journal is, and what they do.
