I personally am holding off until a few days before the vote to make my decision, and to let any other bidders come forth. Admitedly, I sold a fifth of my holding last week, but only to fund the purchase of some Roc Oil, who I think may be due for a re-rating shortly.

As you say, no alternate bidder is going to move immediately. As well, why would any of the big banks park their money in Hardman as a pure arbitrage play, when, frankly, there are far better opportunities to make money than if this plays out as a straight sale to Tullow at 2.02?
