Sorry to change the thread ,but we failed to pay enough respect to the "new investment" ....We got distracted talking about other issues.
ZGL has been hand picked by Singaporean policy makers to carry the beacon for scientific research......This is a great honor we ought to fully appreciate.
It simply tells us that Zicom has the most credentials for this highly responsible job.....It removes the lingering doubt that ZGL doesn't have a proven track record & will certainly give it more than enough prestige & clout.
In an indirect way it also gives a hint that the 3 start ups will likely become a big success.

Research spend in Singapore falls among the top 10 globally as measured as % of GDP ( 2.2% of GDP in 2011)...The US 2.7% of GDP.
Singapore is No 26 globally at $6.3bn.....This is a big budget for which ZGL is responsible for part of it.
Expansion to SE Asia will likely follow.
I may be biased ,but often strive to put the pieces together.
