"By 1999 he had built a prototype of the ‘Analytical Behaviour Method’, a system where new programs are analysed in a ‘Analytical Virtual Machine’. These technologies were patented between 1999 and 2003. In 2002 the company was sold to Internet Security Systems (now IBM) in Atlanta who continues to sell the integrated product under the name ‘Proventia’. Peter continued to work for ISS as Chief Scientist until 2004."
