Yes, exactly so.
I'd suggest the original granted Endosomal Escape and the filed monitoring cellular trafficking of peptides patents are "methods" patents. Once a compound is discovered with direct application - it is possible/desirable to patent this "therapeutic" use.
I'd speculate that we will have a "back to back" Janssen deal once the "therapeutic" patent is approved.
