A POA establishment is not a complicated or difficult process, even easier if you have a corporate trustee. You simply executed the POA in favour of the person you wish, resign yourself and director and appoint the POA as director in your place. Notify the ATO via a change of details form and also ensure your deed has no issues with this taking place. You head overseas and the POA runs the fund whilst you are away. If you have individual trustees then all investment should be updated to the POA name which is a pain.
