If the contract lapses then they shouldn't renegotiate, just sell to every gas company. If all gas companies are going to need mCHP unit, which is what I believe, then the people will demand bluegen, I know I would. I reckon Eon will come thru on the order as it would be the worse decision a CEO could make not to maintain exclusive rights for the top SOFC on the market. Lets put it in perspective, they would probably get them at a good rate say €15000 which would mean the order would cost €1.5 billion, Eon as a total unit is €5.853 billion so €1.5 b ins`t that much even if they had to do Eon rhurgas at the same time it would barely be half there profit, and at 20%ish return they can just borrow the money, the just let financial repression pay the bill, im sure the german management at Eon understand how significant the bluegen could be as an inflation hedge. It almost defies reason for them not to do it.
