According to Tweets, the equipment will be hopefully be available by the end of the months and testing will take 3-4 months.

mule - If you've read all of the NWE 'Project Update' announcements then you'll realise that the 3-4 month timeline comment by NWE is nothing new (as shown below), as they work their way through the different formations. Norwest have always made this very clear from the onset:-
    ___________________________________________

Once evaluation of the Kockatea is complete, the interval will be isolated and the plug milled out between the Kockatea Shale and the Carynginia Formation. This will enable flow back and clean up to recommence on the Carynginia interval. This work will commence as soon as the necessary equipment becomes available, currently estimated to be towards the end of this month. It is anticipated that the testing of all remaining zones (refer Figure 1) will take approximately 3-4 months. (Announcement 18.01.2013)

It is anticipated that testing of all zones at the Arrowsmith-2 well will take 3-4 months to complete following the mobilisation of equipment, after which a full assessment of the results for each of the zones tested will be undertaken. (AWE Announcement 11.12.2012)

The way forward - lower zones

Once the Kockatea testing program is completed, the Kockatea Shale interval will be sealed off and flow back will then recommence on the lower intervals, the Carynginia Formation and the Irwin River Coal Measures, with the ultimate objective being to establish gas rates for contingent resource calculations from each of the individual formations. The Lower and Middle Carynginia and the Irwin River Coal Measures all remain highly prospective as potential shale gas producers.

The High Cliff Sandstone, a tight sandstone target, is expected to deliver a significantly higher rate than the reported rate of 777,000 scf/d once the zone is fully cleaned up. An extended well test will then be required to determine the areal extent of the HCSS target.

It is expected that this program of work will run for 3-4 months, depending upon results. (NWE Announcement 11.12.2012)
