Energy Exports - Japan

I'm wondering if anyone has thought about the possibility of energy exports somewhere down the line.

Obviously, we have a relationship formed between J-Power and Genex here.
Japan has been reported to require either floating wind turbines or energy imports to meet its targets.

Is it possible that Genex and J-Power could provide a link for Japan to import energy with the right projects being constructed?
I guess I'm wondering what the more knowledgeable people on this forum may know or think about such a possibility?
I'm presuming it would be in the form of hydrogen fuel cell technology...?
