Opposition leader Peter Dutton saysthe Albanese government’s renewable energy plan is leading Australia down a“dangerous path”, as he warns of the likelihood of blackouts and brownouts.
Dutton took aim at the Prime Minster’s lack of a plan for theintroduction of renewable energy during a media conference in Berkeley Vale onthe NSW Central Coast on Thursday.
“We have a prime minister who is taking our country down adangerous path with his renewables only policy,” Mr Dutton said.
“Itmeans that prices are going to go up for your electricity, and your gas bills.
“Itmeans that we are going to have unreliability, so we are talking blackouts, andbrownouts under this governments watch.
“Ithink there is a huge problem of the government’s making when we see thosebusinesses, and business like this who will suffer into the future because ofinvestment decisions - and ideology that’s dictating how investments are madeinto renewables only, and that is going to cause huge disruption for families,and business
