EnergyX’s proposal put a $150 million offer on the table, plus an addition 10 per cent gross royalty over a decade. It wanted to pay this in cash, development funding and EnergyX stock. It is not known if the approach, made nearly a month ago, found a landing with Galan chairman Richard Homsany. The company declined to comment when contacted by Street Talk on Monday afternoon.
