Enerji Business Development Update
Perth-based clean power company Enerji Limited (ASX:ERJ) has delivered two site assessment reports to prospective customers as part of the process as outlined in the previous business development update. The engagements involved fees and expenses paid to Enerji, and each report has resulted in deeper engagement with each customer.
One customer has engaged Enerji in detailed contract negotiations based on the comprehensive site report, which incorporated a mutually agreed commercial proposal. The customer has requested we examine one of its two other sites using the same assessment/proposal process. Both of its mine sites are powered by reciprocating diesel generators and are acutely aligned with Enerji's core technical and commercial capability.
The other report, for the industrial site, revealed significant potential for the application of Opcon’s Powerbox technologies in conjunction with Enerji’s heat capture expertise. As foreshadowed previously, this is a more sophisticated application involving potentially five Opcon units.
Consequently, the customer is set to engage Enerji to proceed with a comprehensive feasibility study. To achieve this Enerji will contract a professional engineering firm to assist with the detailed engineering aspects of the study. The Company will soon call for proposals for this work. The study is expected to take four months to complete.
While the opportunities outlined above have been the Company’s major recent focus, Enerji also continues to pursue further new and existing prospects.
The Company will provide a further update on the Carnarvon project in the coming week.
