"Focus on subscriber numbers" You don't recon they spent last year doing the same thing?
Spent a lot of dollars on Advertising in the half to Dec 2006 (about $220 per new customer) and the sign up rate didn't do much.
Looks like ENG have changed tactics this year with free to connect $0 sign ups and 990 free calls at $99 for hardware.
Initial figures in the presentation show weekly sign ups going from about 800 to 1,200.
If ENG can keep doing 1,200 a week that's 62,400 over the year meaning about 110,000 customers by Feb 2008.
At $360 pa per customer that's almost $40 million in revenue going forward.
That's a big jump from the $8 million in the last half.
Doubt the market will take much notice until ENG can show the 1,200 per week is constant and just not a one off.
And how much will it cost ENG to add another 62,000 people?
Guess ENG won't worry about its share price while it still has loads of money in the bank
