Are the roots of the terrible SP in the change of leadership where the company promoted internally and kept the old Ceo on as highly paid consultant. Was this a sort of retirement plan for him? Seems to me that if ex ceo Brent had a highly positive relationship with PNG Cabinet the PNG mess may have been avoided? If there had been an open process of CEO replacement and the winner had a great relationship with Cabinet we may have seen a more positive outcome. That's just my honest opinion as i am not privy to all the details. But by not bringing in new blood and recycling the old team members the company opened themselves to investor angst and that affects the SP. Damned if i know why our largest shareholder IMC let them do this. They are way underwater with their investments in the company over the years, are well represented on the Board and yet they seem to be passive partners.
