It is quite interesting to look at the nazi fasination with the occult, black magic and occult symbolism that was behind and seems to have been one driving force of the national socialists...
Of course occultism and mysticism was not isolated at that time to the national socialists of pre and WW-2 Germany but they do seem to have taken it more seriously and made it a more strtuctural and integral part of their belief and power system, for at least the higher ranking members of the national socialist power/enforecement structure...
