Au76,if you knew how much the engineers were paid at VBA and Jetstar for 1 aircraft type(B737 or A320) you would,nt be saying that.QAN operate 6 aircraft types.The payrate for 1 aircraft type at QAN can be anywhere from 50% less to 30% less(12hour shift work days and night,7 days a week).Remember,they have averaged 1.7% per year over the last decade.I'm sure if you worked in an highly skilled job you would expect more than that over the last decade.
