the safety of airlines has very little to do with the age of their aircraft.
There have been MANY crashes and incidents due to poor maintenance of virtually new aircraft.
Japan Airlines are flying some VERY old 747's, circa 1972!! Are they falling from the sky ? No. Are they well maintained....oath they are....not even drips of oil from the engines.
Oh, and when you start ordering the 'Hyundais of the Sky' instead of the mercedes......the maintenance bill sky-rockets at 5+ years.......
Short term gain for long term pain.
i suggest you stick to commenting on stock market activity as you appear to know nothing about aircraft operations!
