The referees have been appalling in this world cup and the acting has been a disgrace. The Italians are born acters.
One way to stop this acting l believe is for a video match referee to view the games after and then give the actor a yellow card where it is blatantly obvious.
If anyone watched the Brazilian game a few games back where the Brazilian was red carded after the opponent clutched his face in agony after running into the Brazilian with his shoulder, that red card should of been reversed. That is poor sportmanship.
For a player like Rooney who has played 38 EPL games, champions league, league cup and FA CUP.....probably close to 60 games in total, the 3 months between May and August are for resting. All English players and foreign players who play in the EPL, play more games l believe than any other league.
I am English... and admit they played poorly and they played as though they didn`t know each other that well. Some played out of their positions and some others were never given a chance. To have Defoe on who is 5`6 against 6`2 backs when perhaps Couch should of been on who is 6` odd....the manager Capello made poor decisions.
The EPL needs to have restrictions on foreign players for their countries sake...a limit of 5 on the field at one time and give youth in England a chance to play for their club and country.
