Some facts for all those concerned about Australia being overrun by muslims. Below are the top 9 countries for sources of immigrants for the most recent year I could find 2008/2009. Going down the list, the top five countries (56% of the total immigrants) would not appear to be a large source of islamic immigration - India has a significant islamic minority but most Indians I have met in Sydney appear to be hindus or sikhs. Next is Iraq which is islamic, but a fair number of refugees will be christians giving they have been persecuted following the invasion by the coalition. Sri Lanka - not islamic. Malaysia - yes majority islamic but all the people from Malaysia that I know are of Chinese ethnicity (like Penny Wong) so again not islamic. Burma - not islamic.
