    Thanks for that. I must also correct my previous post - 'feira' means 'market' (usually outdoor & usually fruit and vegies) what I should have said that it means nothing when used in the word 'Segunda-feira'(Monday).

    It might sound unusual but I purchased a basic English grammar book a few years ago and it was fascinating to read. Amazing that things you 'hated' when younger, later in life you actually seek out later in life and 'enjoy'.
