One of the amusing things people say here in Oz is:
"for him and I"
using a preposition and two objects, the last one is 'I'.
But you wouldn't say "for I" - unless you were from Jamaica perhaps. Nevertheless, I can't understand why people do this. Educated people too, and on broadcast media.
