As I understand things, one reason MEO selected Tassie Shoal apart from the obvious shallow location was a lack of marine environments likely to be impacted by the project, hence environmental approval. I don't think the Commonwealth would be keen to approve another similar project in the area before TS is up and running and fully utilized.
