I wonder if the new MEO/Eni partnership is looking at more plays in Bonaparte. Notice who the two gold sponsors are at this year's South East Asia Australia Offshore Conference in October:

The press is buzzing with the farmin news and Heron will be a talking point for some time to come.
* Upstream on-line *
It will be interesting to see what the market makes of the news and how forgiving it is after MEO's previous disappointments. IMO, once MEO gains momentum again I have a feeling it will be sustained with more announcements leading into the new financial year.
It will soon be time to look at rig availability again - I hope they keep away from the cyclone season this time.
