ENi did'nt state which block it is but it must be one of 3 approved Blocks being our 105,120 and Essars 114. The Essar deal was concluded a month later than the Neon deal so the reference more likely to our Block 105. The 114 block required 3D seismic which I have not been able to confirm as completed or not, unlike the seismic for 105/120 whose completion has been commented on in various financial/oil media.

The reference to gas infrastructure also bodes very well for selling gas from blocks 105/120.

I don't think we could be with a better strategic partner than Eni given their strong relationship with Petrovietnam.
