hi all
i see it has been confirmed, as per earlier post by Dr Daz, Ya (?), that ENI will in fact be the operator for the long and very much anticipated Evan Shoals drill. EP for ES submitted by ENI on 21 December 2012.
Talk about ENI taking the region by the neck....
ENI are NOT drilling the proven high CO2 ES discovery so soon after Heron for the fun of it!! Things are going to really start to hot up re TS with the ES and Blackwood drilling in 1H 2013! ENI have called the well ES N1 but it is very much to the west (circa 15km) of the two previous ES discoveries (i.e. much closer to BLACKWOOD)!!
EP states ENI plan on drilling ES between March and May 2013, subject to rig availability. Looking very positive for ES and Blackwood back-to-back drilling noting ENI publicly stated they are going to drill Blackwood in Q2 2013.
ES N1 to take 45 to drill and up to 20 days for production testing.
Thoughts anyone? IAM, DR, Ya, Others??
Link to EP below.
A happier new year to you all...
