Big Mac, thanks for the background check. This transaction (the final bit) has irritated me. The language went from settling in early match quarter to 28/2 when mashala was due. I'm a marketer, and I would have settled early and sung it proud. At that point I realised these fools would settle same day and let the market know afterward. Had nothing happened this week I would have made a call to ccc admin, prepared and ready to sell. At present I have no indication otherwise. Tomorrow might be different. Appreciate that you might not believe, but that's the truth.


This transaction hits at the heart of a belief CCC lie, don't meet deadlines (still) and can't finish what they started..

Finance costs are always going to be tough, we are bloody high risk. CBA are not offering us unsecured compounding 8% loans for a reason. CCC embarked on an aggressive plan, didn't plan for coal prices, and overestimated what they could do. They stuck to their plan, which shows conviction, but lacked thr execution. We need finance and thr majors are certainly not retuning our calls.

I am not sure you can question their performance in the last 4 months, absolutely the last 3 yrs.

Tomorrow we collect a cheque and simply pass it on, cash flow is still a concern.
