prhb...those few of us that said the share buyback did not support the sp were proved correct at the time,figures do not lie.
As for having less shares on issue, that was not part of the discussion at the time but obviously is an advantage,especially when unknown news/factors drives a sp up as is happening now.
I would think that a positive announcement would be needed soon to keep the sp from falling,especially after such a strong rise.
I don't consider the price appreciation is anything to do with a vote of confidence in management.
They have always had excellent management from the top down through good times and bad,
Sometime in the near future,all will be revealed as to reasons for the huge increase in sp over last 2 weeks.
