I think you misunderstood me you have to of purchased the shares in the time frame they were saying i.e. I think after OZ was first formed and when they went into a tading halt in Nov. However if you purchased them in this period you can still hold onto them as well as get the claim.

From what I was told you could get the claim plus with the beneft of share price increases perhaps your shares will eventually end up being more than you purchased them for.
